THE CITRUS COLLECTION
Lemon & bergamot.
We are excited to introduce our Citrus Ice Cream Collection! In this collection, you’ll find lemon ice cream, our Super Lemony sorbet, bergamot ice cream and kumquat sorbet. The collection is constantly expanding, so check regularly for new additions.
Simple, yet stunning.
Zingy, zesty, lemony; these are our lemon ice cream recipes. They all follow the same method, which is infusing the milk with the lemon zest, and adding a lemon syrup during the last stages of churning.
4 ways to make a perfect Lemon Ice Cream:
THE EASY WAY! This method is fast, straightforward, loved by many, and incredibly tasty. The key lies in using a generous amount of heavy cream, so make sure you scroll to the right for alternative recipes with less cream.
Ingredients: fresh lemons, milk, cream, and sugar.
THE ITALIAN WAY. When the weather is hot, we thicken the ice cream with cornstarch to make it more resistant to melting. It is also the lightest in heavy cream.
Ingredients: fresh lemons, milk, cream, sugar, and cornstarch.
THE FRENCH-STYLE ICE CREAM. Rich and velvety, this is a custard-based ice cream; a tad bit tricky to make, but so much worth it. Our winter favourite for its rich and cosy mouthfeel.
Ingredients: fresh lemons, milk, cream, sugar, and egg yolks.
LIKE A PRO. The closest you can get to store-bought ice cream with just one extra ingredient. Professional texture, yet super-easy to make.
Ingredients: fresh lemons, milk, cream, sugar, and xanthan gum
Crazy lemon flavour.
This is not a simple Lemon Sorbet, but a carefully crafted Super Lemony Sorbet that uses a unique method to extract all the essence from the lemons.
The recipe:
With fresh lemons, water, sugar, and tapioca starch (or cornstarch).
For the love of this fragrant citrus.
In this Bergamot Ice Cream, we intensify the bergamot flavours by massaging the peels with the sugar and adding the flavoured sugar to the milk. We love this method because it brings out all the aromas of this fragrant citrus.
